Woe when well you say all men! Luke 6:26A. This is why!1. According to the same things, their fathers speak well of false prophets!2. This was what Jeremiah said about their fathers: Jer.5:1,30-31 "Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city. (Jer.5:1) "A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end? (Jer.5:30-31)3. Here is a scripture says about all men: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.4. Can you understand why is it ‘Woe when well you say all men’? This means you are one of the all men! This means you are doing things that please them! What are things that you do that please sinful men? Sinful things!B. Are you surrounded by these kinds of people? Gal.5:15-16 If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.1. Right now, if you think you are surrounded by people fight and try to devour each other, deceive each other for things that may satisfy the desires of their flesh, you are blessed!2. Because you are not far from the kingdom of God! Mark 12:28-34 After Jesus declared: The Lord our God, he is one! This man said: "Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him…. When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God." 3. That was how I felt when I was a child growing up in Hong Kong! I hated to be like them, I become a follower of Christ until today! You can too! Please don’t wait too long! We need you! And you need us! Together we can make a difference in the world around us!4. We know that these people are destroying each others in this life and the life to come! You do not have to be like them! You can be like us! In the churches of Christ! Where you are surrounded by people you can trust. By people who love each other for the Lord’s sake! Your soul will get solace. You can feel free within your soul! You don’t have to suffer any longer!C. Are you living a life with many “watch out”?1. “Watch out that no one deceives you.” Matt.24:42. “Watch out... They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.” Matt.7:153. Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. Lk.12:154. Watch out for those dogs… Phil.3:25. Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 2 John 1:8D. I think these are enough “watch out”! I know your soul is weary and burdened enough! Please listen to Jesus’ advice! Matt.11:28-29 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
