The right time to say thank God, praise the Lord!

The right time to say thank God, praise the Lord!

A. So you have pain in your heart!

1. I have pain in my heart also!

Just what cause that pain in the heart may be different!

Jesus said: In me you may have peace.

In the world you may have tribulation!

As long as we live on this world, tribulation will find us out!

2. This can cause great pain in my heart!

A denomination person say thank God, praise the Lord!

Especially the one whom I had taught about Titus 3:10-11!

I ask with plain language, did I tell you Titus 3:10-11 says,

denomination people are warped, sinful and self-condemned?

Yes, you did!  And I know!

Why do you still worship with denomination people

rather than worship with those who worship

according to what the Bible says?

That person left quietly and continue to life as usual!

B. What is the right time to say thank God, praise the Lord?

1. 1 Thes.2:13

Thank God, you received from us the word of the message as the word of God.

Our message is the truth, the word of God.

Here is the right time to say, thank God, praise the Lord:

   a. Thank God we are giving the opportunity to preach the word of God.

   b. Thank God those listen to us, understand and receptive!

   c. I and the listener both know what we preach is the truth from the Bible!

2. 1Cor.1:4-7

1:4 I thank my God always concerning you, for the grace of God which was

given you in Christ Jesus;1:5 For in him you have been enriched in every way--

in all your speaking       and in all your knowledge--

1:6 because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you.

1:7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for

our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.

a. Thank God, praise he Lord, the grace of God was given you.

b. Thank God, praise the Lord, the people I taught know the truth by heart and able to share that truth with others!

c. Thank God, praise the Lord, people have all kinds of spiritual gift!

3. 2 Thes.2:13    2:13 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers

loved by the Lord, for from the beginning

God chose you to be saved through the

sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

2:14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the

glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2:15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on

to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

C. This is surely a right time to say thank God, praise the Lord! Phil.4:14-16

4:14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles.

Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance

4:15 with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared

   with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;

4:16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again   when I was in need.

Yes, I said it again and again in all my life!

When I am in need of help, a friend in the Lord is always there to help me!

In my 50 years of preaching, whenever I was in trouble beyond my ability to

overcome God always have someone right there to give me a hand!

For all these I say thank God, praise the Lord!

May the Lord bless you and keep you always!

Preach this on the 1st Sunday 2011.
