HOW DO OTHERS ALSO TEACH ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?

HOW DO OTHERS ALSO TEACH ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?

1. They say, according to 2 Cor.3:6, when you read the Bible you cannot take what you read literally at its face value!

After you read what is written, you must pray to God to send Holy Spirit to reveal the intended meaning to you!

2. Now let us see what 2 Cor.3:6 say-->

God has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills,

   but the Spirit gives life.

3. To us this is what it says:

a. The first sentence says, it is about being competent as ministers of a new covenant!

It explains itself with “not of the letter but of the Spirit”!

b. Reason for the change is “for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life”.

4. To them what this verse says:

a. Letter means written words of the Bible.

If one reads the Bible and take what it says literally at its face value,

he will misunderstand the meaning and be condemned!

They say this is what “the letter kills” mean!

b. This is why after reading the written words of the Bible, you must pray to

God to send the Holy Spirit to reveal the intended meaning to you!

5. But I found, if we read on to verse 9, we will find these followings:

a. The ministry that brought death is the ministry of the law of Moses!

b. The letters engraved on stone is the ten commandment!

c. Moses’ face was glowing so bright that Israelites could not look steadily

at his face was the time after Moses received the ten commandment!

d. Thank God, in the entire Bible there is only one thing that engraved on stone, the ten commandments.

e. Thank God, the only time Moses’ faces was glowing was after he received the ten commandment!

f. 2 Cor.3:6-9 is about ministers of the New Covenant must do things according

to the New Testament, not according to the law of Moses!

6. By the grace of God, I found Gal.2:16 compliment to this!

Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.

So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ

and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.

“By observing the law no one will be justified” is what “the letter kills”,

and the ministry of the law that brought death mean!

7. Read Ro.3:28 and Gal.3:10 and you will agree with me!

Romans 3:28--> We maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.

Galatians 3:10--> All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written.

"Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

8. I also found Romans 1:17 Apostle Paul reconfirms to this!

For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last,

   just as it is written:

"The righteous will live by faith." Ro.1:17

9. Conclusions:

a. 2 Cor.3:6 has nothing to do with how the written words in the Bible is to be read.

It is about the ministry of the law of Moses and the ministry of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in the

   New Testament gospel!

b. Therefore, their teaching according to the Bible is completely foreign to the Bible!

Thus all who are with them will be alienated from Christ!

May the Lord bless you always!
