Feeling safe in life on earth!?
A. Make no mistakes about this one!
God is just, faithful, love and holy! 1 Jn.1:9, 4:8, 1 Peter 1:16.
B. Consider these Chinese philosophical sayings:
(1) Sacrificial and everlasting love.
(2) Unchanging principles for life.
People feel some what safe living in America.
I think it is because America is ruled by an unchanging constitution!
Yes, in the last 200 some years there are lots of amendments to this constitution!
But as a whole, it is still intact!
C. Yes, we know it is much safer to live in the kingdom of God!
1. Because the ruler is Christ. He will never do wrong to hurt anyone!
2. The constitution is perfect and complete forever. It needs no amendment!
As long as we live by it, we know we will never go wrong! I do mean never!
3. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.Mt.24:35
4. For God so loved people of the world that he gave his begotten Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life! Jn.3:16
5. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
1 John 2:17
6. Yes, with the above knowledge in our hearts we recite Heb.13:6-->
“So that with good courage we say, the Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
What shall man do unto me?”D. These descriptions fit what God did also!
1. Fierce heart deadly hand. Chop grass wipe out root. Thorough destruction.
Think about what happened to Gomorrah and Sodom in Genesis chapter 18 and 19
then you know God has fierce heart and deadly hand. His destruction is complete and
thorough. He really chop grass and wipe out root!
2. Read Genesis chapter 6:5-7 then you know God is for real!
The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
… And Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth;
both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens;
for it repented me that I have made them.
3. I am sure, if U.S. U.K. Canada, France,… all these nations were existed,
they will come together use their nuclear weapon on God’s heaven!
I am not about right or wrong. I am about what reported in history!
E. How about strike while they are unprepared and sudden blow away!
1. Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of men to live on all faces of the earth;
and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
This why once a while we saw man drop to the ground and died suddenly!
God decides how long and where men live! Death may strike at anytime!
2. 1 Thes.5:3 While people are saying,
"Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, … and they will not escape.
3. This is Jesus’ advice: Matt.10:28--> Be not afraid of them that kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.
F. Yes, now we come to devils tremble!
1. You believe there is one God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble. James 2:19
2. Demons possessed man shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me,
Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture me!" Lk.8:28
(So much I love to watch devils beg for mercy!)
G. Conclusions:
1. Please do not ignore such a great salvation! Heb.2:32. It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Heb.10:31 May the Lord bless you and keep you always. Preach this on June 12, 2011
