Let not your good be evil spoken of! Ro.14:16
This is a vital message for today's world. Because lots of parents have only one child!

A. The main scriptures for this study. Ro.14:16-17
Let not then your good be evil spoken of: for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
1. May the world assuredly know this vital message about church going!
Church going is for righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
2. After you have been going to church for a period of time.
And you do not see righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit increased in your life
and family, you are on the wrong track!
3. As a matter of facts, anyone going to church but do not see the measure of their righteousness
and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit increased, he has no hope for eternal life in heaven!
It is either you have both or have none!
B. The way to accomplish is à Let not your good be evil spoken of! Ro.14:16
1. Each Sunday you go to church is a good thing!
But one Sunday you are late for church, other see and say why is he late!?
Thus your good can be evil spoken of!
But when the truth is revealed, you said, the train got stuck!....
Congratulation, your good is not being spoken of as evil!
2. Train your children to behave is a good thing!
But when you use yelling and cursing to do this, your good thing can be evil spoken of!
Instead you whisper to their ears, your good will not be evil spoken of!
3. A real life story to illustrate the point!
A couple married ten years ago.
During this time they often fly or drive thousand miles to visit her set of parents!
This is a good thing!
Their neighbors watched and admired that their parents have such wonderful married children!
Wishing someday their sons got married will be like them!
When the truth revealed: (Everything turned upside down!)
One day, they met the other set of parents eating dim sum in a restaurant.
Just happened their neighbors also went to eat dim sum in the same restaurent at the same time!
They said to this other set of parents, you must enjoy the visit of your children and grandchildren!
The father of this other set of parents replied, you mean you see our children and grandchildren
came to visit us?
To their surprise, they said, you mean your children came 1000 miles to visit her set of parents
and not come to visit you two? No, they don't and is like this for many years!
They found out this couple only visit her set of parents but do not visit the other set of parents!
Instantly, their good thing is being evil spoken of!
This is so bad that it is beyond normal people’s imagination!
Even unbelieving neighbors cannot imagine, they are so wicked children!
I can easily imagine, if their neighbors were idol worshipers, after eating dim sum they will
run home fast to burn incense to their idols and beg their idol to help that their sons will not be
like them when they got married!!!
Remember, before the real truth revealed to them.
They wish so much that someday their sons got married will be like them!?

This is so bad and wicked, I pray hard to the Lord that this do not happen to anyone!!
I know in reality, it happened often and in many places!
If this couple do such thing and claim to believe Jesus, their "good thing" will surely make
everyone run away from believing Jesus! They will all run away from churches!
How can church going people do such wicked thing! May the Lord have mercy!!!
4. Forget about this most common excuse for unrighteousness deeds!
Because they mistreated me first…
Please recognized this assuredly, the scripture is perfect and complete!
Romans 14:12 sealed them off once for all time! Sinners have no place to run!
“So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:12
Others did wrong, let them answer to God, you keep do righteousness!
And you may have peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
5. We all have to remember what Jesus said in Matt.6:14-15
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
C. You can turn your good to be well spoken of!
In the case of this married couple who visit her set of parents and not visit his set of parents!
All they need to do is visit also his set of parents!
The real life story can become like this!
One day, his set of parents, met the neighbors and said, Mr. and Mrs. so and so.
You must enjoy the visit of your children and grand children!
Their answer is: Yes, very much so!
They stayed with us for a few days, and they went to stay with them for a few days! Wonderful!!!
They are wonderful! This way we all have righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
The church going purpose is wonderfully accomplished!
