There are people you and I do not want to see!

There are people you and I do not want to see!

A. 1 Cor.5:9-11

   I wrote unto you in my letter to have no company with fornicators;

not at all with the fornicators of this world, or the greedy and swindlers,

or idolaters, for then must you needs go out of the world.

But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother

but is a fornicator or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler.

With such a man do not even eat.

1. Anyone who calls himself a brother but live like a none-believer!

These are people you and I do not want to see!

2. The scripture says--> You must not associate or eat with these people!

This is why I say, when you see them while walking on the street,

you may Say: hi, how are you

But not say: long time no see let’s go eat dim sum.

3. I know lots of “believers” do not take this instruction seriously, I do!

And my advice to my brethren is this--> you should too!

4. To brethren in the church, Apostle Paul put it this way-->

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord,

that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Eph.4:17

B. 2 Thes.3:6 and 3:10-12

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers,

to keep away from every brother who is idle and

does not live according to the teaching you received from us. 2 Thes.3:6

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you,

that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all,

   but are busybodies.

Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ,

that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. 2 Thes.3:10-12

***Please take note: This is a command in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

I have to say, in my 36 years sharing the gospel of Christ,

I have yet to see one adult Chinese believer in the church!

Yes, I did see a few children who are idle but love to eat!

C. Titus 3:10-11

Warn a denomination person once, and then warn him a second time.

After that, have nothing to do with him.

You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful, being self-condemned.

1. Denomination sin against Jesus’ prayer in Jn.17:20-23

2. Denomination sin against Apostle Paul’s teaching in 1 Corinthians 1: to 3:!

3. The instruction is clear: Have nothing to do with him!

D. Jesus cast these people out of the temple! Jn.2:13-15

When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves,

and others sitting at tables exchanging money.  So he made a whip out of cords,

  and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle;

he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.

E. Jesus expose fake believers and stay away from them! Jn.8:30-45

1. As he spoke these things, many believed on him. Jn.8:30

2. Jesus therefore said to those Jews that having believed him:

If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples. Jn.8:31

3. Jesus said: You do the works of your father. Jn.8:41

They answered: God is our father.

4. Jesus said: God is not your father, Satan is your father! Jn.8:44

5. Jesus said: I preach the truth. And you do not believe me!

To me this is clear! One who does not do what he said is not a believer!

May the Lord bless you and keep you always! Preach this on November 6, 2011.
