Recognize the devil’s trick and suffer less!
A. Remember what says in the Bible!
This is very important because the Bible has the forever best knowledge!
1. We know we are of God, and the whole world lies in the evil one! 1Jn.5:19
This is very important! We know who we are! We are of God.
We know who the evil one is. We know our situation! We are in the world.
And the whole world lies in the evil one!
2. Jesus taught us how to survive in a world that lies in the evil one!
Be as shrewd as snakes and as harmless as doves. Matt.10:16
Both of these are very alert and quiet species!
3. Be self-controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 peter 5:8
Apostle Peter’s advice: Be self-controlled and alert! Stay away from them!
4. Apostle said we can outwit them! 2 Cor.2:10-11
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven--
if there was anything to forgive--
I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us.
For we are not unaware of his schemes. 2 Cor.2:10-11
Forgive brothers who sinned and have repented in the church in order that Satan might not outwit us.
5. Without God’s permission, the devil cannot do us harm!
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them,
because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1Jn.4:4
6. Learn it from Jesus stay away from them! Jn.8:59
They took up stones therefore to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. Jn.8:59
7. Let God deal with them. Ro.12:19
Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath (of God): for it is written,
Vengeance belong unto me; I will recompense, said the Lord.
8. We trust in God who is faithful and just! 1 Jn.1:9
God promised: It is righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you. 2 Thes.1:6
B. The devil’s obvious characteristic:
1. Children of God are able to do righteousness! 1 Jn.3:10
Children of the devil are not able to do righteousness! 1 Jn.3:10
2. The devil lies and twists the truth!
Such as they tell you what time they will arrive in a certain address.
You suspected that they might lie to you, so you went to verify!
They said you stalk them!
By using the word stalk, they make themselves to be scary animals!
How foolish can Satan’s people be! Yes, we can outwit them!
3. The devil likes to make trouble for children of God! Job 1:8-11
The LORD said to Satan: Have you considered my servant Job?
There is no one on earth like him;
he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.
"Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied.
"Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has?
You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.
But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face."
C. Stay away from them and move on with you life as usual! Lk.13:31-32
At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him:
Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.
Jesus replied: Go tell that fox,
`I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.
