Thank God we can believe Jesus according to what he said!
One who does not know this is a great blessing, do not deserve eternal life!
A. Failed to believe according to what he said, you become his hated person!
1. To these people Jesus said, they were not his disciple. Jn.8:31
2. To these people Jesus said, they were children of Satan. Jn.8:44
3. Failed to believe Jesus is the Christ, will die in sin! Jn.8:24
Please forever remember, believe Jesus is the Christ means you must do what he told you!
What he told you is all in the New Testament Bible!
(Ask me for the scriptures on which I came up with the above statement!)
4. To these people Jesus said: I never knew you, depart from me, you evildoers!
Read Matthew chapter 7 from verse 21 to verse 23, you must know!
B. If you can’t do what Jesus said, it is better that you do not believe!
1. A believer must not continue to live like an unbeliever! Eph.4:17
So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord,
that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Eph.4:17
2. A story for illustration. Jn.5:5-14
a. Jesus healed a man who had been an invalid for 38 years.
b. Do you want to get well? He said: Yes, sir. Jn.5:6-7
c. Jesus said: Get up! Pick up your mat and walk. Jn.5:8
d. At once the man was cured. Jn.5:9
e. The man had no idea who cured him! Jn.5:13
Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him: See, you are well now!
Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you! Jn.5:14
***The key is sin no more! Or else something worse may happen to you!
3. If you do not want to do this, it is better you do not believe! 1 Tim.5:8
If a believer does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family,
he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
4. If you can’t stay faithful to the end, it is better that you do not believe!
The crown of life is to be won by being faithful unto death! Rev.2:8-10
To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things said the Lord-->
I know your afflictions and your poverty-- yet you are rich!
I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer:
behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried;
and you shall have tribulation ten days.
Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.
5. If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end
than they were at the beginning. 2 Peter 2:20
6. If you can’t do the will of God, it is better that you do not believe!
Jesus said to the teachers of the law and Pharisees. Matt.23:15
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one,
you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
Real life example for illustration:
An “believer” who refuses to believe Jesus according to what says in the New Testament Bible.
But desires our fellowship, favor and service!
He like to come stay in our house, eat our food and ask us to take him sight seeing.
But on Sunday he insist to go worhsip God in a denomination church! Ask us to take him there and
bring him home afterward!
I say this man is ten times a son of hell!
By doing this, he gave me no face, made me do things against my faith, my conscience...
Religion produce such people in this world!
This may cause us not able to practice 1 Cor.5:11
and it shows that this person do not have dignity and decent human principle in life!
1 Cor.5:11--> But now I have written unto you not to keep company,
if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater,
or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist; with such an one no not to eat.
Railer--> twist what you say and use it to protest against you!
This man in real life according to what I can reason is ten times a son of hell!
I dare, not to let anyone do this to me! I made it known to all.
One who like to come stay with me and eat my food has to come worship God
according to what says in the Bible in the same church of Christ. Otherwise do not come!
If anyone wants to twist my love for them and my determination to do what says in the New Testament Bible
and use it to protest against me. I let God be my judge!
I refuse to let anyone become ten times a son of hell as long as I shall live.
Thank God we can believe Jesus according to what Jesus said in the New Testament Bible!
Again thank God and praise the Lord! The Lord is one, beside him there is no other! Mk.12:28-32
