The church must be a pure virgin to Christ!
Scriptures for this study: 2 Cor.11:2-4
For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy:
for I espoused you to one husband, that I might present you a pure virgin to Christ.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness,
your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity that is toward Christ.
For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus, whom we did not preach,
or ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive,
or a different gospel, which ye did not accept, ye do well to bear with.
A. For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. 11:2a
1. God spoke these words: Ex.20:1-5
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt,….
You shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above
or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or worship them;
for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God,
punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation
of those who hate me.
2. Moses’ advice: Deu.4:23-24
Be careful not to forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he made with you;
do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the LORD your God has forbidden.
For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.
3. Moses’ advice: Deu.6:14-15
You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples round about you;
for the LORD your God is a jealous God and his anger will burn against you,
and he will destroy you from the face of the land.
4. The most important of all the commandments is this: Mk.12:28-32
The Lord your God, he is one. Besides him there is no other!
B. How the church is to be a pure virgin to Christ?
For I espoused you to one husband, that I might present you a pure virgin to Christ.2 Cor.11:2b
1. Christ is the husband and the church is the wife! Eph.5:22-32
2. From Revelation chapter 17 and 19 we know what pure virgin mean!
a. In physical term, pure virgin means a woman as wife
she receive only the discharge from her own husband.
b. In spiritual term, pure virgin means a church
receive only teachings originated from her own husband, Christ!
C. What does it mean to be a pure virgin to Christ? 2 Cor.11:3
But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning,
your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Cor.11:3
1. This was the problem with Eve! Gen.3:1-3
Satan said to Eve: Did God really say, you must not eat fruit from any tree in the garden?
Eve Said: We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden.
But God did say, you must know eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden,
and you must not touch it, or you will die.
***Minds that receive ideas not from Christ, they may be led astray!
2. A pure virgin means receive and practice only what Christ said!
They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.Mk.7:7
D. What does it mean to be a pure virgin to Christ? 2 Cor.11:4
For if he that come preach another Jesus, whom we did not preach,
or you receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different gospel,
which ye did not accept, ye do well to bear with.
Receive and practice only what is recorded in the New Testament Bible!

我认为: 教会的名称与作基督贞洁的妻子所存,清洁专一的心和偏于邪的心有很大的关系!

I believe the name of a church has a lot to do with whether a
wife’s mind is corrupted or simplicity and purity toward Christ (her husband).
I present this for all Jesus’ believers on earth to consider!
例如:一个女人与招先生结了婚.她就心满意足的做招太太.
这就是她用清洁专一的心对自己的丈夫.
Example: A woman is married to Mr.Zhao.
She is satisfied to be called Mrs.Zhao.
This is her heart (mind) is simple and pure toward her husband.
若是有一天她看见姓姚的男子,发现他很好.心里起了喜欢称为姚太太的意念.
她的心就是偏于邪了.
If one day, she met Mr. Yao and she like him.
In her heart she imagine, if she can be called Mrs. Yao also.
This means her heart is corrupted1
正如:有人告诉恩典教会的人说:圣经不是有基督的教会吗?
为什么你要称为恩典教会昵?他们说,其实我们也是基督的教会!
Just as, you ask Grace Church people:
Why do you called this church Grace Church?
Do you know in the Bible should be church of Christ?
Yes, we know, we are really church of Christ too!
这就正正是,明知自己应该是基督的教会,却喜欢标榜"招姚"说自己是恩典教会!
This is exactly, knowing they should be church of Christ,
but like to be called Grace Church!
就算这个妇人还是照样跟姓招的男子过夫妻生活,心也偏于邪了!
明知自己的丈夫姓招,也知道自己是招太太却举起姚太太的牌子"招姚"过市!
我认为这就是启示录十七章和十九章的淫妇!
这就是心偏于邪的意思!
Even if, Mrs. Zhao continue to live with Mr. Zhao as husband and wife.
Her heart is corrupted!
Knowing her husband is Mr. Zhao and herself is Mrs. Zhao.
But like to lift up a name Mrs. Yao and show it to the world!
I think this is exactly what Revelation chapter 17 and 19 says,
about a spiritual prostitute!This is what her heart is corrupted !
