Thank God, I rather defy Satan!
A. All of my life, I say, if people do not listen to God,
why do I have to listen to them?
As a member of the church of Christ we seek to make Romans 14:17-19 a reality in life!
Ro.14:17-19--> For the church of Christ is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
For he that in these things serve Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace,
and things wherewith one may edify another.
B. Yes, I know the best situation is this-->
while I follow Jesus, I do not have to defy Satan!
But in light of what Jesus said in Matt.10:28,
if I have to defy God or defy Satan.
I have to defy Satan rather than defy God!
This way, the worst I get is my body be destroyed!
But if I defy God, then my body and soul both be in hell!
Thank God, I am not that stupid!
C. In reality as I know, people in the world usually
chosen to defy God rather than defy Satan!
1. In 1 Samuel chapter 17 I see the Philistine Goliath defy God’s army
and what happened to him and his nation? They got wiped out.
And I say, their souls are also in Hades suffering right now!
2. Today people in the world choose to defy God than rather than to defy Satan!
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie,
they worship and serve created things rather than the creator! Ro.1:25
3. God gave them over to be filled with all unrighteousness,
fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness;
full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters,
haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things,
disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers,
without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Ro.1:29-31
4. They know this is God’s judgment! Ro.1:32
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death,
not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
In today English expression it is, God let them destroy their bodies,
then send their souls to Hades!
D. I know this is why people behave this way!
1. They go to church on Sunday but they never ask,
is the name of this church written in the Bible?
2. They go through items of worship,
but never ask is this item written in the Bible!
3. How can anyone claim to believe Jesus and not know Mark 7:7!
“They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.”
E. They defy God in their daily living!
1. Do not call anyone on earth ‘father’
for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Matt.23:9
They defy God for over 1500 years and counting! They call man on earth ‘father’!
2. Jesus said: Why do you call me, Lord, Lord, and not do what I say! Lk.6:46
For over 2000 years starting with the Jews, people all over the world defy God!
They declare that they accept Jesus as their personal Lord.
But they don’t do what he said!
How can they for over 2000 years not know Jn.8:31-44,
Jesus called such people Satan’s children!
3. Jesus said marriage is a male and a female join together become one flesh! Matt.19:3-5
Do you know how many nations’ head of state declare same sex marriage is legal?
People voted to install such a man to be their ruler,
people and their leaders defy God together!
4. Do you know this English word ‘fornication’ mean! It means sexual relation without marriage!
The newly elected president of France, governor of New York….
They have live in partners! Heads of a nation, heads of a state defy God this way!
5. No longer do I wonder why they go to church
but never ask is the name of this church in the Bible?
Now you know why they can go through worship items for a 1000 years and
not ask is this item according to what says in the Bible!?
6. Why is it I keep asking these questions!
Thank God I was equipped with this character-->
