Will we be sorrow when we are in heaven?

Will we be sorrow when we are in heaven?

Preface: The question:

When we are in heaven seeing others in hell will we be sorrowful?

To my surprise, many told me the answer is no!

This is one of those sermons, I wrote with a heavy heart and anguish within my soul!

I am sad now! Yes, now is the time to be sorrowful.

I pray God has mercy on them that they will come to my website and find salvation in the Lord!

1. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,

neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away! Rev.21:4

This scripture has make it simple and clear-->

there shall be no more death, neither sorrow…

2. From the story Jesus told in Luke 16:19-

31.  Abraham and Lazarus were in Paradise, the rich man was in Hades.

From the word Paradise we know Abraham and Lazarus were happy.

They saw the rich man was in agony in Hades.

Abraham refused to help him even he begged for it!

This was Abraham’s answer: Son, you had your good times.

And Lazarus had his bad times.  Now it is the other way around!

This sounds to me, like it is a fair exchange!

3. Here is a song you can sing it with happiness or sing it with sadness!

How about this song, Heaven is a happy place, happy place, happy place!

Heaven is a happy place, Ho le lo ah.

Hades is a yah ky place, yah ky place, yah ky place.

Hades is a yah ky place, ai yah ai yah.

4. Apostle Paul put it this way! Romans 9:1-3

I speak the truth in Christ--

I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit--

I have   great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart.

For I could wish that I myself were cursed and

cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers,

   those of my own race.

5. My brothers on earth,

if you have feeling for your love ones and friends, the time to help is now!

So you can say these as Paul did-->

But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive,

he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them,

"Your blood be on your own heads! I am clear of my responsibility.

From now on I will go to the Gentiles." Acts 18:6

6. Jesus put it this way! Matt.18:8-9

If your hand or your foot causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away.

It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than

to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away.

It is better for you to enter life with one eye than

to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

This means to me is this-->

Be in the Lord at all cost!

And it is now while we are alive on earth!

7. Take up the cross and follow Jesus or try to gain the whole world? Matt.16:24-27

    Jesus said to his disciples,

"If anyone would come after me,

he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it,

but whoever loses his life for me will find it.

What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world,

   yet forfeits his soul?

Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels,

and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.

8. God will give to each person according to what he has done.

To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality,

he will give eternal life. Ro.2:6-7

Conclusion:

1. Be not deceived;

God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

    For he that sows unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;

but he that sows unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. Gal.6:7-8

2. As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.

For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you,

and in the day of salvation I helped you."

I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. 2  Cor.6:1-2

May the Lord bless you always!  Preach this one on July 13, 2012
