And he said unto them: When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing?
They said: Nothing.
Then said he unto them: But now, he that has a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip:
and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me,
and he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

a time to kill and a time to heal!

A. I know people can go this way with Luke 22:35-37!
Yes, they can use the word sword and connect to Heb. 4:12-->
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
B. Then the thought would go this way:
1. Let thugs live but let righteous people be killed!
2. Good example from Jesus! Jesus had the power to kill thugs! But he let them killed him!
To people think this way! My advice is to read--> John 10:17-18
Jesus said: Therefore does the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down,
and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.
3. If I have the same power, then I would say to thugs before they kill me--> I see you in 3 days!
You have a little more than 2 days to prepare your death and go to hello without the o!
C. Yes, I know it can go this way! Matt.28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
2. 2000 years has gone by!
May I ask: How many are disciples of Christ in this world today?
How many are living as a child of God?
How many are living a life that do righteousness?
How many are having peace and joy in the Holy Spirit?
3. Jesus wants to build the church! People love to establish religions! Thugs are being produced!
4. Yes, the word of God in the Bible is powerful,
it can pierce even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
5. But as I can see it is this-->
Everyone has a reason not to obey the word of God written in the Bible!
D. I can imagine!1. When all nations become disciples, being real members of the church of Christ!
Remember, I keep talking about Romans 14:17?
This means all nations are doing righteousness, having peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!
2. There is no thug on earth! This sermon is not needed!
3. Anyone does not do righteousness, can’t even think of entering the kingdom of heaven! 2 Pet. 3:13
