How do people defile God's dignity in our generation?
A. This was how people defile God’s dignity 2600 years ago during Jeremiah time!
1. A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land! Jer.5:30
The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it that way.
But what will you do in the end? Jer.5:31
2. Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem: This is what the Lord says:
Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you.
So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions. Jer.18:11
3. But they will reply: It is no use. We will continue with our oown plans;
each of us will follow the stubbornness of his evil heart. Jer.18:12
4. Therefore this is what the LORD says:
Inquire among the nations: Who has ever heard anything like this?
A most horrible thing has been done by Virgin Israel. Jer.18:13
5. And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible:
They commit adultery and live a lie.
They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his wickedness.
They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah. Jer.23:14
6. Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty says concerning the prophets:
I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water,
because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land. Jer.23:15
7. This is what the LORD Almighty says:
Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you;
they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. Jer.23:16
8. I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message;
I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. Jer.23:21
B. How do people defile God’s dignity in our generation?
1. Of all God’s commandments which is the most important?
Jesus said, the most important one is the Lord our God He is one! Mark 12:28-32
Besides this God in the Bible, there no other gods!
But do you know what do people from top to bottom say?
They say you are free to worship any gods!
2. Romans chapter one says, homosexual will go to hell!
Do you know what do people from top to bottom say? Homosexual is legal!
3. Titus 3:10-11 say, denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned!
Jesus believers are to have nothing to do with them after one and two warnings!
Do you know what do “Jesus believers” do with denomination people nowadays?
Join them and determined to be a part of denomination!
Besides me and you, who care about what Jesus wants!
4. Jesus prayed for complete unity of all his believers in the world! Jn.17:20-23
Look around the world!
There are about one billion “Jesus’ believers” in this world!
Who care about what Jesus prayed?
Yes, by the grace of God, I do! Pray that you do too!
5. Jesus bought the church with his blood! Acts 20:28
Do you know what so called Christians do?
They feel free to name the church!
They say, the name of the church is not important!
Where is their intelligence?
This is not just an insult to God’s dignity, this is an insult to their own dignity too!
If the name is not important, why do they defend for it!
Why do they keep it!
After they paid millions for a house, would they let me sign my name on the deed to this house?
6. They are preaching John 3:16 against Mark 16:16!
I have yet to know one denomination people know how to preach John 3:16 correctly!
But you know what? Billions of people like it that way! Terrible and shocking!
Conclusion: Count your blessing, if you are touched by this teaching and determine to correct it!
At the end of this sermon I have to remind all who had not yet believe Jesus as we do, you must believe at once!
Because Jesus said, he who believe will have eternal life.
He who believe not will have no eternal life and the wrath of God is upon him constantly. John 3:36
