Who care about what God wants?
Can you say I care?
A. God wants you to give him face! Lev.10:1-3
1. Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they
offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the
presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.
Moses said to Aaron: This is what the LORD spoke of when he said: "`Among those who approach me
I will show myself holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honored.'" Aaron remained silent.
2. 1Sam 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in
obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of
rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because
you had rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you from being king. 1 Sam.15:22-23
B. God wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Tim.2:4
1. Are you sure that you are saved if the world ends today!
2. Do you know the truth in the Bible? How much do you know the truth?
Are you helping others to know the truth?
3. God love people in the world so much that he gave his only son to die for them so that whoever believes
on him shall not perish but have eternal life!
4. By now all of us should know what is the original respond to these two words--> believe Jesus!
Please tell me that you remember what says in Acts 19:4-5!
Yes, the original biblical respond to ‘believe Jesus’ is they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus!
5. Please also tell me that all of you remember what water baptism do for the one who receives it!
From Acts 2:38, 22:16 and 1 Peter 3:21 water baptism saved them by washed their sins away!
6. Yes, do you know the truth in item #4. Does everyone on earth know this truth?
I know most people if not all people do not know this truth!
If we care about what God wants, what must we do?
7. Yes, we must carry out Jesus command in Mark 16:15!
To preach the gospel to all creation! So they can be saved and come to know the truth in the Bible!
C. God wants his people to be holy!
1. Just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do! 1 Peter 1:15
For it is written: Be holy, because I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16
2. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you
should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the
heathen, who do not know God. 1Thes.4:3-5
D. God wants his people to be law abiding!
1. Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the (powers)
that be are of God. Therefore he that resists the power, l cloph the ordinance of God: and they that
withstand shall receive to themselves judgment. Romans 13:1-2
2. Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme
authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. 1 Peter 2:13-15
E. God wants his people to be perfectly united in one church of Christ! John 17:20-23
My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them
may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that
you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you
in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you
have loved me.
F. God wants his people to love one another!
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35
In reality where we are look like each has lot to do in this life we do not even have time to attend Bible study and church fellowship! We do not even know each other, how do we practice love for one another!
But in some place in China I had 8 days gospel meeting people packed into church building! They may be material poor but they were able to attend gospel meetings for 8 days!
