Where comes man and where will he go?

Where comes man and where will he go?

Recognize it, man has no control over where he comes! In the course of life on earth man has no control over growing old and died the physical death! Man does have a choice on where to live eternally!

A. Man has 3 lives! 1Thessalonians 5:23

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit,

soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

B. Man was created to be a living soul! Genesis 2:7

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed. into his nostrils the

breath of life; and man became a living soul.

C. While living on earth in the body man committed sins! Romans 3:23

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

D. The result of committed sins is death of the body and soul! Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

E. Man who don’t believe Jesus is Christ he will die in sins! John 8:24

I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am, you will indeed die

    in your sins.

F. After physical death man will face judgment! Heb.9:27-28

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed

once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin,

but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

G. The soul who sins is the one who will die! Ezekiel 18:20

The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will

the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to

him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.

H. Here are where the spirit and body will go! Ecclesiastes 12:7

The dust returns to the ground it came from, the spirit returns to God who gave it.

I. There are two places the soul may go!

1. The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side.

The rich man also died and was buried. In hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and

saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. Luke 16:22-23

2. One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ?

Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said,

"since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our

deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me

when you come into your kingdom."  Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will

be with me in paradise." Luke 23:39-43

J. The soul that has to go through this judgment will be in hell eternally! Revelation 20:11-15

I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence,

and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the

throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead

were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the

dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person

was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake

of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book

of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

 K. Man must know the truth recorded in the New Testament Bible! James 1:21

Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness

the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

May the Lord bless you and keep you always! Preach this on March 24, 2013.
