What will God do when he is aggravated?

What will God do when he is aggravated?

A. This what God will do when he is aggravated! Romans 1:16-27

1. Romans 1:16--> I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of

everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Please be advised what did believe mean originally at that time!

    a. Acts 19:4-5--> Paul said: John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe

in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.

On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

    b. James 1:21-22--> Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly

accept the word planted in you, which can save you.  Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive

        yourselves. Do what it says.

2. Ro.1:17--> For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from

first to last, just as it is  written: The righteous will live by faith.

3. Be sure of this! God can be aggravated!

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who

suppress the truth by their wickedness. Ro. 1:18

4. Because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them. Ro.1:19

5. In knowing God, man refused to know him through their same common sense! Ro.1:20-21

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived

through the things that are made, (even) his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without

excuse: because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became

vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

6. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for

the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

    Ro.1:22-23

7. This is what God will do when he is aggravated! Ro.1:24-25

Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be

dishonored among themselves: for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and

served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

8. Right now, America’s D.C. is boiling on this very subject! Romans 1:26-27

For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that

which is against nature: and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in

their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that

recompense of their error which was due.

B. This was what God did when he was aggravated! Heb.3:7-11

1. Wherefore, even as the Holy Spirit said: To-day if ye shall hear his voice, 3:7

2. Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness, 3:8

3. Where your fathers tried (me) by proving (me,) And saw my works forty years. 3:9

4. That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said: Their hearts are always going astray,

and they have not known my ways. Hebrew 3:10

5. So I declared on oath in my anger: They shall never enter my rest. Hebrew 3:11

C. This is what God will do when he is aggravated! 2 Thes.2:9-12

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love

of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that

they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure

    in unrighteousness.

D. Beware if you are having fun in what is not in line with what says in the New Testament Bible!

1. Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets.

    Luke 6:26

2. John 15:19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the

world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
