How did i discover the true meaning of these scriptures?

How did i discover the true meaning of these scriptures?

A. Proverb 26:4 and 5.

1. Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself. 26:4

2. Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes. 26:5

3. These 2 verses look like contradict each other!  I thought this cannot be!  These are the words of God!

B. When I study Bible with many denomination people:

1. They keep going to the saved thief on the cross with Jesus was saved without baptism!

They insist salvation in the Lord is before and without water baptism!

2. They ask me: Was this thief on the cross whom Jesus took with him to paradise saved?

3. They insist water baptism is not needed for salvation in the Lord!

I insist on reading Mk.16:16 Jesus said he who believes and is baptized will be saved!

4. They kept going to the saved thief on the cross were saved by Jesus himself without baptism!

C. By the grace of God one day I came across Mark 2:10!

1. Jesus said: But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins....

2. Yes, Jesus is Lord and Savior. When he was physically on earth, he has authority to forgive sins!

The Lord and Savior used his authority to forgive his sins!

But now we have to do it according to his command in Mark 16:15-16!

For the world it is he who believes and is baptized will be saved.  He who believes not will be condemned!

D. Arm with Mk.2:10, with Pro.26:4-5 in my mind!

1. I answer a fool according to his folly! –> O.K. if you insist to be saved exactly like the thief on the cross, then I

have to hire a carpenter to build a cross for you, another cross of the other thief and the third cross for Jesus!

Yes, I have pray for Jesus to come back in physically form and be nailed on the center cross and nail you on the right side cross, then before you bleed to death, you may say: Jesus when your kingdom come please remember me!

2. We know this is answer a fool according to is folly! I will never preach the gospel this way!

Then I explain to them, you can’t quote Luke 23:39-43 anymore! Because Jesus is not physically here!

We have to do it according to Jesus’ command in Mark 16:15-16!   I do not answer a fool according to his folly!

E.  Here is another one that puzzled me for sometimes!

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in

their generation wiser than the children of light. Luke 16:8

I remember 1 Cor.1:25--> For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is

   stronger than man's strength.

2. So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of

   their thinking. Eph.4:17

3. Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.

    2 Cor.6:17

4. Luke 16:3 solve the puzzle! Then the servant said within himself! …

Once we notice this “said within himself” everything go smoothly!

It is a classic example in our today society!  People of the world always think within themselves that they wiser

  than children of light!

5. Luke 16:9 go over the top to show how stupid he was!

  a. He thought he can use dishonest money to make dependable friends!

  b. He thought the Lord really commeended his dishonesty!

  c. He thought unrighteous people can receive him into the eternal dwellings!

Of course unless these eternal dwellings is the lake of fire, hell!

But I don’t think this unrighteous servant said within himself all his unrighteous friends are in hell and they

can receive him to live there too!

Conclusion: Please always remember these scriptures! 2 Peter 3:10-13

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.  Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwell righteousness.

If you don’t want to remember these much, just remember this one!

Only the righteous people dwell in new heavens and new earth!
