How did the god of this world blind their minds?

Subject: How did the god of this world blind their minds?

Scripture as recorded: 2 Cor.4:2-4

2 Cor.4:2 -->

   a. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, (Because they have not renounced their hidden things of shame!)

   b. not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; (They walk in craftiness and they handle God's word deceitfully.)

   c. but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience  (They did not do this!)

   d. in the sight of God.  (God can see their hearts!)

2Co 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled in them that perish: (God has made the decision!)

2Co 4:4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of

   the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn (upon them).  (God let them covet what is in the world!)

1. How did John 1:12 become a support for the faith alone saved theory?

   But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, (even) to them that believe on his name.

(They failed to see this line--> God gave the right to become!)

2. How did Romans 10:9 become a support for faith alone saved theory?

   Because if thou shall confess with thy mouth Jesus (as) Lord, and Shall believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved:

   for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(They failed to see the book of Romans was written for the saved saints in the church so that they will no be fooled by the heretic in Acts 15!)

3. How did Ac 16:30-31 become faith alone saved?

   And brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

   And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shall be saved, thou and thy house.

(They failed to read on to verse 32 and 33 in the same chapter! What a shame!)

4. How did they think of using the second part of the verse in Mark 16:16 to void the saying in the first half of the verse in Mark 16:16?

    And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.

He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he who disbelieves shall be condemned.16:15-16

(They are determined to stay in dark! They refuse to receive the love of the truth! God give them a powerful delusiton! 2 Thes.2:10-12)

5. How could they ignore such plain truth in Acts 2:38, 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21?

   Ac 2:38 And Peter (said) unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins;

   and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

(They refuse to reason with normal logic!)

6. Why did they find these verses and made them to support faith alone saved theory?

   Eph 2:8 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, the gift of God;

   Eph 2:9 not of works, that no man should glory.

(They failed to read on to 2:10! They failed to see the book of Ephesians was written like Romans explaining Acts chapter 15!)

7. Why did they find these verses to support their faith alone theory?

   Ac 10:44 While Peter yet speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them that heard the word.

   Ac 10:45 And they of the circumcision that believed were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles

     also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.

   Ac 10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.  Then answered Peter,

   Ac 10:47 Can any man forbid the water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?

   Ac 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. …

(What can I say! God did not let Matt.10:5-6, John 1:29-33, Acts 2:1-4, 10:28, ... dawn upon them!)

8. Why did God let the light of the gospel dawn upon us?

(Because by the grace of God, we are determined to seek and find the truth in the Bible and present it to the world!)

 (May the Lord bless you and keep you!)
