There is a time to weep!

There is a time to weep!

Ecc.3:1 Says, there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

Ecc.3:4 says, there is a time to weep and a time to laugh…

I believe at the dead of a friend it is always a time to weep!

A. At the time when Jesus’ friend Lazarus died!

1. His family members wept! Many family friends wept with them!  Jesus wept too!

2. I know family members and friends wept because they had lost a love one!

They wept because they miss the company and fellowship of Lazarus bodily present!

3. But I believe Jesus wept for a different reason!

  a. Jesus knew he would get his friend come out from the dead! He did not need to weep for his dead!

  b. Jesus wept because people do not believe he is the Christ!

Anyone does not believe Jesus is the Christ will die in their sins!

He knew what will happen to them when they died! Jesus wept for these people!

B. Sadly to say, today we are here to weep for the dead of a brother in the Lord!

1. I know each one has a different reason to weep!

I know if Jesus were physically here he will weep too! Jesus’ reason to weep is forever the same!

2. As for me I weep because I lost the bodily present of a brother in the Lord!

According to what says in the Bible, this is actually a joyful time for the one who died!

I heard a voice from heaven say:   Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.

(This mean die as a member of the church of Christ which is the body of Christ! Ro.16:16, Col.1:18)

Yes, says the Spirit: They will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them. Revelation 14:13

3. I weep because I know many of his family members and friends do not follow Jesus and worship God

the same way in the same church with him! Because I know all these souls will miss him in eternity!

I know different religions and different churches offer different kinds of eternity!

Because I know each church and each religion has a different set of criteria for its candidate!

They say just like all big wide road lead to Rome! But I know where Rome leads to!

4. I weep because this is the last time I will see many of his family members and friends!

After today they will all go separate ways in following Jesus and worshiping God!

5. I weep because I know Jesus said all who may someday get to meet brother Hue again in eternity will

have to be perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect! Matthew 5:48

I know the only way to be perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect is to follow Jesus and worship God

the same way as Brother Hue did when he was alive!

He heard the truth, he repented and was baptized into the body of Christ and he worship God in the

church that was built by Jesus Christ and wear the name church of Christ!

I congratulate Brother Hue!  He had the blessing to die in the Lord and get to be with God in heaven!

6. In case someone do not know how to become perfect as the Heavenly Father is perfect, I present the

scriptures here for all to read, remember and ….!

My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.

May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  John 17:20-21

It is by being baptized into Christ, live in Christ, worship God in the body of Christ we are in Christ.

When we are in Christ, we are in the Father! When we are in the Father, we are as perfect as the Father!

C. Finally, my advice for all brother Hue’s family and friends is this!

Whatever you do, just do not end up like the rich man in Luke 16:19-31  Please read the story to know!

Please, if you have to, you rather be like the other Lazarus, who after dead of his body, his soul get to

be in paradise with his ancestors and God!  Just be sure to follow Jesus and worship God the same was

  as Brother Hue did!

My best wishes to all and may God bless you all!
