Twice a son of hell what does it mean?
A. Main scripture for this study Matthew 23:15.
1. Woe to you. Teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites!
2. You travel over land and sea to win a single convert.
3. And when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
B. From these teachings of the scriptures I say these:
1. Elders are fathers with faithful children. Titus 1:5-9.
Anyone creates a teaching that make 19 year old teenager say I am elder on the street are sons of hell.
Those follow him have to be twice sons of hell!
2. Jesus Christ had established the church and he called it my church . Matt.16:18
Anyone establish another church and name that church is son of hell.
Those who follow him have to be twice sons of hell!
Who else dare to establish a church, name that church to complete converts with Jesus Christ?
3. Jesus Christ said there is only one God and said call no man on earth father for you have only one
Father who is in heaven! Mark 12:28-32, Matt.23:9
Anyone dare to say I am your spiritual father or even say I am God has to be son of hell.
All those listen and follow him have to be twice sons of hell!
4. Matthew 24:24-27
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even
the elect-- if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. "So if anyone tells you, `There he is,
out in the desert,' do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning
that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Anyone dare say Jesus Christ is back and I am he… has to be son of hell!
Those follow him have to be twice sons of hell!
5. Matthew chapter 23 has many reasons why teachers of the law and Pharisees were sons of hell!
6. To me this was the most deadly one! Matt.23:13
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in
men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
7. Jesus gave his physical life to get souls to heaven they travel over land and sea to get people to hell!
C. Here are some Bible examples!
1. They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer
and false prophet named Bar-Jesus, who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus.
The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of
God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the
proconsul from the faith. Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked
straight at Elymas and said, "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right!
You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the
Lord? Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be
unable to see the light of the sun." Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped
about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. When the proconsul saw what had happened,
he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord. Acts 13:6-12
2. Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and
their splendor. All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me." Jesus said to
him: Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.Mt.4:8-10
D. Here my advice:
1. If you so interest in knowing when Jesus may come back, keep Matt.24:14 in mind-->
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations,
and then the end will come.
2. The Bible are everywhere right now! Read and believe only what you can find in the Bible!
3. Can you find the name of that church in the Bible? If you can’t even do this, what can I say!
