Beware! When people keep telling you God is love!
A. Yes, be sure to know God is love!
1. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
2. The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10
3. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Ro.5:8
4. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. 1 Thes.5:9-10
B. God love the Jews so much why did he do these?
1. Shame on them with this--> Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God wil speak to this
people, to whom he said, This is the rest, give ye rest to him that is weary; and this is the refreshing:
yet they would not hear. Isaiah 28:11-12
2. Made it harder for them to know the truth in the Bible-->
Therefore shall the word of Jehovah be unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept;
line upon line, line upon line; here a little, there a little;
that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Isaiah 28:13
3. Killed their priests instantly! Lev.10:1-2
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took each of them his censer, and put fire therein, and laid incense thereon,
and offered strange fire before Jehovah, which he had not commanded them.
And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and devoured them, and they died before Jehovah.4. The reason is simple--> They would not listen to God!
5. Reason: Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that Jehovah spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me,
and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. Lev.10:3
C. Why did God do this? 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles,
signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.
They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and
so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

D. Be not deceived! God is also faithful, righteous and consuming fire! 1 John 1:9, Heb.12:29
1. The soul who sin is the one who will die! Eze.18:20
2. God will render to every man according to his works;
to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life. Ro.2:6-7
3. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor.6:9-10
4. Do not be fooled with this--> I was born with this…!
a. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Cor.5:17
b. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. Gal.6:15
5. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of
the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor.6:11
Conclusion: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sow to the Spirit shall of
the Spirit reap life everlasting. Gal.6:7-8
