Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people;
and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to take the saved
into his eternal kingdom.2. The NIV Bible translated "to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him"
may cause confusion to some! So it is better to translate the original text as
"to take the saved into his eternal kingdom"!
For the original text contains both meaning! Because sinners are saved at the time of their baptism!3. So we know, it is as sure as man is destined to die once, Jesus will appear
the 2nd time! B. When will this 2nd appearance be? 1. The Father in heaven does not want anyone to know!(Matt.24:36)Jesus said: No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only the Father!2. It is proper and wise not to know when this 2nd appearance will be.
3. Once a while people of the world like to lie that they know, they had figured
out the day or the hour Jesus will appear the 2nd time.
It is against the will of God!a. Since God, the Father in heaven does not want anyone to know, it is proper
and wise not to know!b. Since Jesus said, no man knows that day or hour, anyone who says he knows,
he is not a man!c. Since angels in heaven do not know, anyone who knows must be better than
angels in heaven!d. Since the Son, Jesus himself does not know, anyone who knows is saying that
he is better than Jesus!e. Since Jesus said, only the Father knows, anyone who says, he knows, he is
saying that he is Jesus' father! He is saying that he is God! No greater sin a man can commit than this one! So, my advise to all the people on earth is this! Never say that you know the day or the hour Jesus will appear the 2nd time! C. What does God want us do while waiting for Jesus' 2nd appearance? 1. This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world...(Matt.24:14) Does anyone care about this one!God wants the gospel of the kingdom be preached in the whole world.
Let all men make sure the gospel of the kingdom be preached in the whole world
and not worry about or even talking about when Jesus will appear the 2nd time!
Are you preaching the one and only gospel of the kingdom!?2. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual
immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that
is holy and honorable...(1 Thes.4:3-4)3. Anyone who strive to live and holy life do not worry about when Jesus will appear
the 2nd time! Only those evil servants have to worry about that! God wants us to live a holy and honorable life! D. Jesus' 2nd appearance will be in the air!(1 Thes.4:17)1. My dear ones, please forever remember this verse! So that no one on earth can
deceive you!...We who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in
the coulds to meet the Lord in the air...2. Please remember Jesus' 2nd appearance will not be on earth but in the air.
The saved who died before this appearance will rise from dead to meet the Lord
in the air, the who are still living on earth when Jesus appear the 2nd time
will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air! 3. Jesus 2nd appearance everyone can see!(Matt.24:27)For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will
be he coming of the Son of Man. E. At Jesus 2nd coming, the earth will be no more!(2 Peter 3:10-12) E. When Jesus comes the 2nd time, the earth will be no more! F. Don't worry about the 1000 year kingdom in Rev.20:1-6!Re 20:1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. (NIV)Re 20:2 He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. (NIV)Re 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (NIV)Re 20:5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. (NIV)Re 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
