Three stages salvation.
A. Born again of the soul!
1. For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son-- both alike belong to me.
The soul who sins is the one who will die. Eze.18:4
2. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 1 John 5:17
3. Jesus declared: I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.
Nicodemus asked: How can a man be born when he is old?
Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!
Jesus answered: I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water
and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be
surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.' John 3:3-7
4. For God so love the world. He gave his begotten son. He who believes in him shall not perish,
but have eternal life. John 3:16
5. Paul said: John's baptism was a baptism of repentance.
He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.
On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus Acts 19:4-5.
6. We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was
raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4
7. Go, stand in the temple courts and tell the people the full message of this new life." Acts5:20
8. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Cor.5:17
B. Grow in salvation of the soul!
1. Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:1-2
2. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you
with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of
these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and
unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear
friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the
error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. 2 Peter 3:15-18
3. Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.
But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. Gal.6:1
4. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have
shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the
coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are
crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Heb.6:4-6
5. If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and
are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.
t would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known
it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. 2 Peter 2:20-21
C. Rest in the bosom of the Lord!
1. I heard a voice from heaven say: Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.
"Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.Rev.14:13
2. In hades he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and see Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Lk.16:23
3. Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will
give thee a crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
He who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death. Rev.2:10-11
4. The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. Acts 2:47
5. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send greetings. Ro.16:16
6. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything he might have the supremacy. Col.1:18
