Yes, believe Jesus save life, money and eliminate lots of troubles in everyone’s life time!
Believe Jesus means no drinking, no smoking, no gambling, no blind faith!
Eliminate each of the above items would save many lives, much money and troubles in a life time!
Today we will talk about no blind faith can save lives, money and troubles!
The week of February 16, 2014 is a troublesome week in religious belief wise!
A. A snake bite killed a pastor!
1. This pastor picks up a poison snake while preaching!
2. According to Mark 16:17-18-->
These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up snakes; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
3. We can see there are 5 things he can do. He chooses to take up snakes.
He thought this would show that he was a God appointed genuine preacher.
4. I know this is blind faith. Plain ignorant! He died for it!
5. He failed to read and failed to understand Mark 16:20-->
They went forth, and preached everywhere,
the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.
6. He should handled snakes the way Apostle Paul did!
Acts 28:3-5 Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire,
a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. …
Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.
7. Today we verify the Bereans’ way-->
Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians,
for they received the message with great eagerness and
examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11
B. 33 South Korean people traveled to Egypt and Israel!
1. At the border a man thrown a bomb at their bus! 3 killed, 30 hurt!
2. This is a tragic lost of lives, money and brought much trouble for others!
3. This happened because of blind faith in religion!4. They thought by visiting those dull place would increase their devotion to God!
5. They thought by visiting those dull place would increase their understanding of God’s word!
6. I give them 10,000 years to visit those places 10,000 times they were still be a denomination!
As a said, as long as one is a denomination! Nothing else matter!
7. Titus 3:10-11 clearly tells us denomination is warped, sinful and self-condemned!
8. The first thing people in denomination have to do is quit being a denomination!
9. As long as one stay with a denomination, everything giving to him will be wasted! Think, please!
10. Because of their blind faith, 3 dead, 30 hurt! Much money lost, much trouble created!
Conclusion:
Holy land lovers take notice:
1. 1 Cor.15:33 Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.
2. 2 Cor6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.
For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?
Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
3. Ro.1:2 the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures.
4. Ro.12:1 I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy,
to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your spiritual act of worship.
5. Ro. 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send greetings.
6. Eph.5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity,
or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.
7. 1 Thes.3:13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.
8. 1 Thes.4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
9. 1 Tim.2:8 I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.
10. Jude 1:20 Dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
