Please be a genuine Jesus believer!
A. Whatever you may do, just please do not be like these people! Matt.7:22-23
1. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
2. Jesus said to the Jews who having believed him…. John 8:31-44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire.
He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him.
When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
These people believe Jesus but there is no truth in their hearts.
And they do not obey the truth.
Therefore, the truth did not set them free from their sins!
I am sad for them! These are pitiful people!
There are too many of these already! They do not need you to be one of them! We need you!
B. Please be genuine Jesus believer like these people!
1. By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did.
By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings.
By faith he still speaks, even though he is dead. Heb.11:4
2. By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away.
For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. Heb.11:5
3. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family.
By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. Heb.11:7
4. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went,
even though he did not know where he was going. 11:8
C. Please believe Jesus like this! Romans 8:35-39
1. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Rev.3:7-12
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 8:35
2. It is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.
3. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:37
4. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 9:38-39
D. Please believe Jesus like this! Rev.3:7-12
1. To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write:
These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David.
What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. 3:7
2. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.
I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. 3:8
3. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars--
I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 3:9
4. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. 3:10
5. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 3:11
6. He that overcome, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence no more:
and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem,
which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and mine own new name. 3:12
E. Conclusion:
1. Please do this-->
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you.
Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor.15:58
2. So you can get this--> Then I heard a voice from heaven say:
Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.
"Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them." Rev.14:13
