John 8:31-32, Ro.16:16, James 1:21, 1 Tim.3:15, Ro.8:16.
Theme: Identifying the true Jesus believers in the world.
1. The saved people are in the church. Acts 2:47
Who put them in there? The Lord himself put them in there!
Saved people in the church have to be true Jesus believers!
2. What was the name of that church? Romans 16:16
The name of that church was church of Christ.
Apostle Paul called them churches of Christ.
3. Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 3:5
Apostle Peter explained what born of water and the Spirit mean in Acts 2:38
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit!
These baptized people were the saved people.
They were all true Jesus believers.
And the Lord added them into the church of Christ.
4. Born of water and the Spirit is being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ!
These people enter the kingdom of God. The Lord put these kinds of people in the church.
Therefore the church of Christ and the kingdom of God are the same institution.
5. The church of Christ, the kingdom of God and the household of God are the same institution. Acts 2:38, Acts 2:47, Ro.8:16, 1 Tim.3:15.
6. What kinds of people are in the churches of Christ?
a. They are about righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
b. They are baptized saved people.
They are children of God. Acts 2:38, Ro.8:16. 1 Tim.3:15
7. People in the churches of Christ, are able to know the truth in the Bible! John 8:31-32
a. God lays up sound wisdom in store for the righteousness! Proverb 2:7
b. They are children of God. Children of God live a life doing righteousness. 1 John 3:10
8. True Jesus believers are in the churches of Christ.
True Jesus believers abide in the word of Christ.
True Jesus believers are children of God.
True Jesus believers know the truth in the Bible.
True Jesus believers are free from sins.
True Jesus believers are righteousness doing people in this world!
True Jesus believers are in the household of God.
True Jesus believers are in the kingdom of God.
The kingdom of God, household of God, church of Christ are the same institution!
