The one gospel Apostle Paul preached!

The one gospel Apostle Paul preached!

A. All preachers beware!

1. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you,

let him be eternally condemned! Gal.1:8

2. Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God;

whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him.

Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work. 2 John 1:9-11

B. Paul's own practice! Acts 16:30-33

Ac 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Ac 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Ac 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

Ac 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized,

      he and all his, straightway.

C. Paul's personal experience! Acts 22:3-16

… And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,

Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight.

And the same hour I looked up upon him.

And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou should know his will, and see that Just One,

and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.

For thou shall be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

     And now why tarried thou?

Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

D. If you preached that Saul was saved on the road to Damascus, you are preaching a gospel other than the one Paul preached!

1. In his own testimony, he said that his sins were washed away at the time of baptism! Acts 22:16

2. Peter preached the same gospel in Acts 2:36-38.

They both got it from Jesus. Mk.16:16.

3. Philip the evangelist preach the same gospel in Acts 8:35-38

4. This was a common understanding in the beginning of the church of Christ. Acts 19:4-5

Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance.

He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus."

On hearing this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

The key is this-->  On hearing to believe in Jesus, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.

E. Paul described the gospel he preached! 1 Cor.15:1-4

1. 1 Cor.15:1-4

Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance:

that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried,

that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

2. Ro 6:3-5

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:

that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.

F. Conclusion: Rev.20:6, Matt.28:18-20

1. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection.

The second death has no power over them,

but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

2. Jesus came to them and said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matt.28:18-20

May the Lord bless you and keep you always! Written on May 5, 2014.

With love, humbly call attention to all preachers! You must not pick Jn.3:16, Ro.10:9-10,

Eph.2:8-9, or other justification by faith

scriptures to argue with this sermon!

For if you do, it only prove that you do

not know the truth in the Bible. It will

further prove that you are not a true

Jesus believer! For Jesus said his true

believers know the truth! John 8:31-32hers!
