耶稣和他的三个朋友的故事.(约11:1-45, 路10:39-42)
一. 耶稣与他们的关系如何!
1.马利亚爱耶稣,喜欢坐在耶稣脚前听他讲道.(路10:39)
她又用香膏,膏耶稣并用自己的头发抹. (约11:2)
2.马大喜欢接待耶稣到家里作客.忙服事,曾请耶稣告诉马利亚帮她服事的工作!(路10:40-41)
二. 疾病和死亡临到这个家!
1.她们的兄弟拉撒路病了.(约11:1)
2.他们差人告诉耶稣,拉撒路病了.(约11:3)
3.耶稣知道了,他仍留在所在的地方两天! (约11:6)
是的,我们知道,耶稣这样做的理由.(约11:4)
在这样的时候,世人所关心的只有一件事,就是要死了的人,身体健康活着!
等到耶稣去他们那里的时候,拉撒路已经埋在坟墓里四天了!
三. 家人马大和马利亚怎样度过家中死了亲人的悲痛?
1.马大听见耶稣来了,就去见他. (约11:20)
看见耶稣的时候,她已经度过了兄弟拉撒路的病,死和埋葬的悲痛!
她看见耶稣的时候,说,主阿,若是你在这里,我兄弟必不会死!(约11:21)
但是,甚至现在,神会给你,你所要求的. (约11:22)
马大还对耶稣说,我信你是基督,是神的儿子,是那要来世界的. (约11:27)
2.马利亚听见耶稣来了,立刻起身到耶稣那里,俯伏在他脚前,说,主阿,你若在这里,我兄弟必不死.(约11:32)
结果他们都一起大哭.(约11:33)
3.很悲伤的说,现今的情形,这就是通常的结果!亲人死了,我们只能一起大哭!
四. 我们怎样彼此劝慰和持守对神的信心像他们一样!
1.我们必须知道,生命的现实!(来9:27)-->按着定命人人都有一死.死后且有审判.
世人都已经接受这个悲惨的现实!各人都必定有一天,要面对这样的悲伤!
2.圣经告诉我们,死是因人犯罪而来的!(罗5:12)
3.我们必须知道,人有三条命!就是肉身的命,魂的命和灵的命!今天我们讨论的是肉身的命.
4.我们知道,耶稣是为魂的命死亡而痛哭(约11:35).
世人都是为肉身的死而痛哭!
我真希望能遇见一些为魂的死亡而痛哭的人!
5.使徒保罗对自己肉身的死的看法是这样!(腓1:22-24)
我在肉身活着,若成就我工夫的果子,我就不知道该挑选甚么.我正在两难之间,情愿离世与基督同在.因为这是好得无比的.
然而我在肉身活着,为你们更是要紧的.
6.使徒保罗告诉我们,要这样彼此劝慰!(帖前4:13-18)
经文:论到死了的人.我们不愿意弟兄们不知道,恐怕你们忧伤,像那些没有希望的人一样.
我们若信耶稣死而复活了.那已经在耶稣里死了的人,神也必将他与耶稣一同带来.我们现在照主的话告诉你们一件事.
我们这活着还存留到主降临的人,断不能在那已经死了人之先.因为主必亲自从天降临,有呼叫的声音,和天使长的声音,又有神的号吹响.
那在基督里死了的人必先复活.以后我们这活着还存留的人,必和他们一同被提到云里,在空中与主相遇.这样,我们就要和主永远同在.
所以你们要用这些话彼此劝慰.

Jesus and three of his friends.(Jn.11:1-45)
A. Their relationship with Jesus.
1. Mary love to sit at Jesus’ feet and hear his word. (Lk.10:39)
Mary love Jesus, she anointed him with ointment and wiped with her hair. Jn.11:2
2. Martha opened her house to Jesus and love to serve him.
She even told Jesus to tell her sister Mary to help! Lk.10:40-41
B. Sickness and death happened in the family!
1. Lazarus was ill. (Jn.11:1)
2. While Lazarus was ill they reported to Jesus. (Jn.11:3)
3. Jesus heard he was ill, he stayed where he was two days. Jn.11:6
Yes, Jesus had stated his reason in verse 4!
But in a time like this, who care about whatever beside the dead come back alive and well!
By the time Jesus went to them Lazarus had been buried 4 days!
C. How Martha and Mary handled themselves at a time like this?
1. Martha heard Jesus was coming she went out to meet him. Jn.11:20
By this time she had already went through her brother’s illness, death and burial!
When she saw Jesus, she said, Lord if you had been here, my brother had not died! Jn.11:21
But even now God will give you whatever you ask. Jn.11:22
Martha said to Jesus, I believe you are the Christ, the Son of God who was to come into the world. Jn.11:27 2. Mary’s reaction:
When she heard Jesus had come, she aroused quickly, and went to him.
She fell down at his feet and she said: If you were here my brother had not died! Jn.11:32
And they were all weeping together! (Jn.11:33)
3. Sadly, in our reality this is usually the end of the story!
Anytime when we face a death in the family all we could do is weep together!
We always cry at the time when love ones leave us!
D. How do we comfort each other and hold on to our faith as they did?
1. Knowing the fact about life on this earth! (Heb.9:27)
Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.
We have accepted this to be a reality we all have to face!
2. The Bible says, death came through sin! (Ro.5:12)
3. We must know, we have 3 lives! (1 Thes.5:23)
Which are life the body, the soul and the spirit!
The death we are dealing with here is the death of the body!
4. We know, Jesus wept for the death of the soul. (Jn.11:35)
We know, people cry for the death of the body!
I love to know who cry for the death of the soul on this world!
5. This was how Apostle Paul see the death of his body! Phil.1:22-24
If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me.
Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!
I am torn between the two:
I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far.
But it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.
6. We are told to comfort each other with 1 Thes.4:13-18!
WE MUST NOT GRIEVE LIKE THOSE WHO HAVE NO HOPE!
