This road, no thru, do not walk.
Time to time, some tried to persuade us to implement their set of teaching!
A. Do not waste time!
1. Here we have the set of teaching set forth in the New Testament Bible!
2. Any teaching written by any human cannot be better than the set in the Bible!
3. No one can claim their set is better than the set in the Bible! Therefore, only crazy people will give up the set in the Bible for the set written by people!
B. Anyone comes to a church of Christ present their set has to be converted!
1. Logically, when one comes to present their set of teaching!
This means their set of teaching is different from the set which we are implementing!
2. There is only one set of teaching in the New Testament Bible!
3. Therefore their set must not be the same as the set in the New Testament Bible!
4. They have to give up their set and adopt the set in the Bible with us!
5. They can’t just take off and go some where else! If they do, they will all end up in hell!
I hope I don’t have to explain this one!
6. The way that God allow them to make their way here!
God has given them a chance to make it right with God!
7. This may well be the only chance to have the salvation for their souls!
If the neglect this great opportunity to have their salvation, they cannot escape damnation!
C. All must be reminded!
1. Apostle Paul made it clear, anyone, even an angel from heaven, if he does not teaching the set which he preached will be condemned! Gal. 1:6-12
2. Apostle Peter put it this way!
Anyone who preaches, he must preach the very word of God. 1 Peter 4:11
3. The word of God is good enough to equip all in doing all good works in the Lord. 2 Tim.3:16-17
4. All the words of God for human to know are in the Bible already! John 16:12-14, 2 Peter 1:3
5. Jesus put it this way! Matt.28:18-20
… Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
6. We can only teach the set Jesus handed to us!
Everything Jesus had commanded us are written in the Bible. John 16:12-14, 2 Peter 1:3
7. There is only one Lord, the God of Jehovah in the Bible! Mark 12:28-32
Besides this God, there is no other gods!8. Don’t wait for time to make things change!
Jesus declared: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Mk.13:31
D. How do I know who came with an adopted set of teaching?
1. Go ask the pastor of the church where you used to attend this simple question!
Is this name of this church written in the Bible?
2. Next time they came back, ask this follow up question!
Did you ask the pastor that question? No, I did not! But I asked in a different way….!
3. To others ask this question: If someone wants to attend church with you, which church would you take them to?
4. Next time when meet again, ask this question the same question!
The answer--> I did not even think about it!
5. They always go back to talk about the set of teaching which they adopted!
What ever question you ask, they brash it asides and go back to it all the time!
If you pay attention!
They do not care what you say!
All they care is their set be adopted!
