The other day, a Korean man killed his wife, his 16 year old son and committed suicide.
As reported this man was a Christian. He and family are members of a Korean Presbyterian church!
The reason was debt way beyond they can pay!
A. As we learned last Sunday, the Bible says--> Let no debt remain outstanding. Romans 13:8
Like monthly mortgage payment, if you missed 3 payments, the bank can auction your house!
1. So it is clear this family did not obey what says in the Bible!
They not just in debt, but in debt beyond their ability to pay back!
2. I have been teaching over 50 years, anyone does not do what says in the Bible is not Christian.
I asked hundreds of people if not thousands which include non-believers!
They all agree, believe Jesus (Christians) must do what says in the Bible!
3. Therefore, the report that said this man was a Christian is wrong!
B. One more time, may it be know to all people on earth!
1. Christians are Christ like people.
2. This man killed his 16 year old son, his wife and committed suicide!
3. It is simple one needs only to think would Christ do such a thing?
No one under this heaven would ever think Christ would do such a thing!
4. Therefore, this man is not a Christian. All normal persons must know!
C. Please learn this and learn it well!
1. I have found, when comes to what says in the Bible!
The world do not take time to find out what they heard or been taught were true or false!
2. When comes to what says in the Bible all must follow what the Beareans did!
They search the scriptures daily to see whether what Paul taught them was true or false! Acts 17:11
3. Jump to conclusion without first research to find out the truth is irresponsible!
3. Without understanding is one sin worthy of spiritual death. Romans 1:31-32
D. God wants all man be saved and know the truth in the Bible! 1 Tim.2:4
1. It is man’s responsibility to make sure that he knows the truth in the Bible!
It is by knowing the truth and does what it says, that saved him! James 1:21
2. Such as in this case, the man killed his son and wife, but report that he was a Christian!
This is insult to the Father in heaven and to all who really believe Jesus!
This is a stumbling block to many from getting into the kingdom of God, a serious sin!
As I can see and calculate, this sin has become a sin that will not be forgiven!
People do not even think about this! Therefore, they will never know it is a sin worthy of death!
3. God requires that all man save themselves! Acts 2:40-42
Searching the truth and obey what says in the Bible is man’s responsibility for his salvation!
E. A Christ like person, a Christian, would do these!
1. As the Father knows me, and I know the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep. Jn.10:15
I know a Christian man would lay down his life to protect his family!
How can any normal human not know this! What this world coming to!
2. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
3. Hereby know we love, because Christ laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives
for the brethren. 1 John 3:16
Conclusion: Commit suicide is a sin beyond repentance!
1. Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and (that) the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man
destroys the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy,… 1 Cor.3:16-17
2. Or know ye not that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have from God?
and ye are not your own; for ye were bought with a price: glorify God therefore in your body. 6:19-20
3. For the love of Christ constrain us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died; and
he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their
sakes died and rose again. 2 Cor.5:14-15
