A. God is love.
B. Love is patient and kind…
1 Cor. 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
1 Cor. 13:5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it thinks no evil.
1 Cor. 13:6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
1 Cor. 13:7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
1 Cor. 13:8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease;
where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
C. 1 Cor. 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
D. 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love.
Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.
1 John 5:3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,
E. John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
2 Cor.1:18 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No."
2 Thes.1:6 God is righteous: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you.
Heb.12:29 for our "God is a consuming fire."
1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light;
in him there is no darkness at all.
As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance
and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. Ja.5:11
1 Pet 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
Matt.25:41 Then he will say to those on his left: Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal
fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Rev.21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who
practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
This is the second death."
Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath (of God): for it is written:
Vengeance belongs unto me; I will recompense, said the Lord. Romans 12:19
For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience
received a just recompense of reward. Heb.2:2
