The remedy to heal depressionà Let not your heart be troubled.
1. John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me. (ASV)
2. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world give, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. (ASV)
3. Ro 8:28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, to them that are called according to (his) purpose.
4. Heb.13:6 So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me? (ASV)
5. Romans 13:4 for he is a minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid;
for he bears not the sword in vain: for he is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil. (ASV)
6. Matt.17:5-7 While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying,
This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
And Jesus came and touched them and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
7. Acts 18:9-10 And the Lord said unto Paul in the night by a vision:
Be not afraid, but speak and hold not thy peace:
for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to harm thee: for I have much people in this city. (ASV)
8. Matt.14:26-28 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost;
and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying \
Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (ASV)
9. Ro.5:3-4 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character; and character, hope.
10. James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
11. Acts 21:14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done."
12. James 4:15 Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that."
13. Acts 17:26 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth;
and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
14 Matt 16:26 What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?
Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
15. 2 Thes.1:6-11 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled,
and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord
and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.
This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.
With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling,
and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.
Conclusion: 2 Cor.1:10 He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us.
On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us.
May the Lord bless you and keep you always!
