Bible on the human body.
1. Originally it was created with dust of the ground. Gen.2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life;
and man became a living soul.
2. By design of God, human body is now born of the will of man. John 1:12-13
3. The body is made up with flesh and soul and spirit 1 Thes.5:23
4. Without spirit the body is dead. James 2:26 5. The spirit was given by God. Ecc.12::7
8. When man died, the spirit go back to God. The dust return to ground. Ecc.12:7
7. After man died the soul goes to either paradise or hades. Luke 16:22-23
8. When the body has done evil, it is the soul that sinned.
The soul that sins is the one who will die! Eze.18:4
9. The body has its own fleshly lusts which war against the soul.
Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from lusts of the flesh,
which war against your soul. 1 Peter 2:11
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Ro.7:23
10. This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Gal.5:16
11. Lust of the flesh is of the world not of the Father. 1 John 2:16
12. Saved people in the churches of Christ are taught to put to death lust of the flesh which are upon the earth:
fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Col.3:5
13. This is how religion and entertainment work to allure the lusts of the flesh! 2 Peter 2:18-19
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh,
through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption:
for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
14. The body is to be the temple of God! 1 Cor.3:16-17
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (KJV)
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy,
which temple ye are.
15. At the time of resurrection this will happen! 1 Cor.15:42
At the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;
16. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body… 1 Cor.15:44
17. In the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable,
and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 1 Cor.15:52-53
18. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality,
then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." 1 Cor.15:54
19. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord,
because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Cor.15:58
20. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. Ro.7:20-21
21. Now repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the washing away of your sin and receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38, 22:16
22. For if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Ro.8:13
