An amazing discovery!
Why Jesus came to earth?
1. The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, as of the only begotten from
the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
2. And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shall call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his
people from their sins. Matt.1:21
3. The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life,
and may have (it) abundantly. John 10:10
4. And I also say unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church;
and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matt.16:18
5. Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men in whom he is well pleased. Luke 2:14
6. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in
the Holy Spirit. Ro.14:17
How to accomplish this?
1. When John heard in prison what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples to ask him: Are you the one
who was to come, or should we expect someone else? Jesus replied: Go back and report to John
what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured,
the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Matt.11:2-5
2. Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out.
But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.
He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die. John 12>31-33
3. That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole
town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many
demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. Very early in the
morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he
prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed:
Everyone is looking for you!" Jesus replied: Let us go somewhere else-- to the nearby villages--
so I can preach there also. That is why I have come. Mark 1:32-38
4. From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. "You do not want to
leave too, do you?" Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him: Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life. John 6:66-68
Why did people love Apostle Paul?
1. As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they compel you to be circumcised; only that they
may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. (ASV)
Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may
boast about your flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which
the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor un-circumcision
means anything; what counts is a new creation. Gal.6:12-15
If you are in a denomination church, you must watch their wrong teaching on Gal.6:15.
Gal.6:15 is the theme of the book of James. Faith without good deeds is dead!
Baptism is for forgiveness of sins. Acts 2:38.
Baptism is to wash away your sins. Acts 22:16 Apostle Paul said, his sins were washed away at time of baptism!
Circumcision is a sign of God's covenant with Abraham.
The seal of the covenant between God and saved people is the Holy Spirit received at time to baptism. Acts 2:38.
Circumcision does not equal to baptism!
2 And by reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted overmuch,
there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be
exalted overmuch. Concerning this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for (my) power is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Cor.12:7-9
3. But ye know that because of an infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you the first time:
and that which was a temptation to you in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but ye received me
as an angel of God, (even) as Jesus. Where then is that gratulation of yourselves? for I bear you
witness, that, if possible, ye would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me. Gal.4:13-15
4. As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to speak further about
these things on the next Sabbath. When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout
converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continuea
in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.
