Listen to the voice from God!
A. Listen to the voice from God for the salvation of your soul. Acts chapter 10:1-11:18
1. Cornelius is an Italian official. 10:1
2. He and family were devout and God-fearing; gave generously to the poor and prayed to God regularly.
3. God send an angel to speak to him in a vision: Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up to God.
4. Now send men to get Simon who is called Peter. He will bring you a message through which you and all your family will be saved. Acts 11:13
5. In the meantime the Spirit told Peter to go without hesitation. Acts 11:12
6. While Peter was still preaching Jesus baptized the listeners with the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:44, 11:16.
7. Peter baptized Cornelius and his family with water for the forgiveness of their sins. Ac.10:47-48
8. As a result, by listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit a family were saved!
B. Listen to the voice of God in your ministry!
1. For God, who was at work in the ministry of Peter as an apostle to the Jews, was also at work in my
ministry as an apostle to the Gentiles. Gal.2:8
2. James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship
when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews. Gal.2:9
3. Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by
the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. Acts 16:6
4. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.
So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. Acts 16:7-8
5. Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God's elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus,
Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia. 1 Peter 1:1
6. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed. Rightly dividing
the word of truth. 2 Tim.2:15
7. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God, if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God give.
That in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom be praised and dominion forever. 1 Peter 4:11
C. Listen to the voice of God for a better life on earth.
1. Jesus said: I came that people may have life and have abundantly! John 10:10
2. Do not worry about what to eat, what to drink or what to wear. Matt.6:25
3. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt.6:34
4. He who has been swtealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands,
that he may have something to share with those in need. Eph.4:28
5. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Eph.5:18
This one save you money and lots of troubles in life on earth for all people!
6. Drink a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your often infirmities. 1 Tim.5:23
7. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Beyond this say no more! Matt.5:37
8. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices Col.3:9
9. Be angry but do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. Eph.4:26
10. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7
11. Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake… 1 Peter 2:13
D. Test all voices before you listen and practice!
1. Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God,
because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
2. The believers in Berea has the best way to test! Acts 17:11
They examined the Scriptures everyday to see if what Paul said was true!
3. Does the voice please the lust of your flesh or the desire of your soul? Romans 7:22
4. Is the message recorded in the New Testament Bible?
