Homeless in NYC?

A. Know this assuredly!

  1. I say: There is no homelessness in NYC!
  2. Google search will tell you there are 8.3 million people in NYC.

           One out of 106 classified homeless! That is about 80,000!

  1. Google search also say there are five main causes for homelessness!

           Substance abuse, housing cost, domestic violence, poverty, lack of disabilities and mental health care facilities!

  1. Not one mentioned about school age children embrace playing but shun learning!

   I happened to live one street away to elementary school. I work across street of a R.C.C. school.

  1. I seen many children after school play their hearts out on street and play grounds!
  2. Thousands of children grown up through our church programs! Over 50 years, not one became homeless!
  3. I can humbly say: If NYC let us run their school program, there would be no homeless within 50 years!

B. Think about Google search 5 causes of homelessness!

1. Substance abuse? This means drug addiction, drinking, smoking, gamble ... addictions!

       Our children do not smoke cigarette, do not drink wine, no gamble,...

  1. Our children grow up make good money housing cost is not a cause!
  2. Domestic violence is non-existing!

   The Lord Jesus said: Love one another! Can human disobey this instruction!?

  1. Poverty? What is it?

           One simple verse solves this one easily! Eph.4:28

           He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work doing something useful with his own hands,

           that he may have something to share with those in need.

           Yes, people may disagree with this one! That is why they there are homeless people!

  1. Lack of disabilities and mental health facilities?

           Thank God, not one of our children grew up in need of these facilities!

C. Here are some real root causes!

        1. Disobey these teachings

           Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Eph.6:1

  1. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise --

           that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. Ehp.4:2-3

  1. No parents teach their children while they were young they should play and not study in school so they can grow up to be homeless!
  2. I believe parents will teach their children to make it good in school!

       With a good education so they will not grow up to become homeless!

  1. No parents will tell their children, be sure to be addicted ....

           There is no child grow up to become substances abuse!

           Why don't I have substance abuse!

            Good if people say: Because you are a preacher! Then be a preacher so there would be no homeless!

  1. Failed to obey these teachings:

           For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: If a man will not work, he shall not eat. 2Thes.3:10

   Practice this while children are still young!

   Let them know early enough! Make them work for their food!

       2. America has this tradition!

   By 15 parents would tell them: My child this is your 15 years birth day! Find a job, learn to work.... by 18 you are own your own!

   Strictly enforce this one! Make them work hard for what they need!

   Very fast they learn a trade to make money to feed themselves!

   They have no time to abuse substance! They have no money to buy them! Why do human abuse substance!?

   D. Finally: Obey your leaders in the church of Christ!

       Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account.

       Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.  Heb.13:17

       I believe there is no church of Christ leaders teach their people to become substance abuse, do domestic violence!

       Get lazy never desire to work hard for a living… so you can become homeless as soon as possible!

       As I said, in my 60 years of preaching in church I have yet to see one child grow up to become homeless!

       If America learns from us there would be no homeless people on the street!

Homeless people in NYC?

Statistic say NYC has 80,000 homeless people sleeping on the streets!

What do you say about a nation that has 45 billion for foreign nations!

721.5 billion for war games! 3.3 billion for Israel. 2.51 billion for Jordan!

Any of the about is much more than enough for the 80,000 homeless to sleep in 5 stars hotel all their life long!

  1. Know this assuredly!
  2. I say: There are no homeless people in NYC! It is impossible! Please do not bad mouth about NYC!

   A nation has 2.51 billion free to the nation of Jordan!  How can there be 80,000 people sleep on their own city street? 

  1. Google search will tell you there are 8.3 million people in NYC. One out of 106 classified as homeless! That is about 80,000!

   This is another reason I say it is not true there are 80,000 homeless people in NYC!

   One has to be crazy to think 105 people together cannot help one homeless person!  This is NYC!

  1. Google search also say there are five main causes for homelessness! (Not one is true!)

    Substance abuse, housing cost, domestic violence, poverty, lack of disabilities and mental health care facilities!

  1. Not one mentioned about school age children shun learning for playing after school day end!

    I live one street away to one elementary school.  I work across street of a R.C.C. school.

  1. I saw some children after school play their hearts out on street and play grounds!
  2. Thousands of children grown up through our church programs! Over 50 years, not one became homeless!
  3. About Google’s 5 homeless causes!?

    Make these people sleep with homeless people on street!  If there are some!

C. These are the root causes!

  1. Lazy in school! Lazy at home! Lazy at work place!  Lazy all life!   Do you know one of these kinds of people!?
  1. Too lazy to obey these teaching! Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Eph.6:1
  2. No parents teach children to shun learning for playing so they can grow up to be homeless!

  4. No parents will tell their children, be sure to be addicted .... There is no child grow up to become substances abuse!

    May God have mercy on all of us!

In Christ? Are you sure?

A few points to verify!

  1. Do God’s commands and sin not! 1Jn.1:1-6 These two are always together!
  2. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.

   And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 1Jn.2:1

  1. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1Jn.2:2
  2. We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 1Jn.2:3
  3. The man who says: I know him, but do not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1Jn.2:4
  4. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him. 1Jn.2:5
  5. Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did. 1Jn.2:6
  6. Whosoever abides in him sin not. 1Jn.3:6-10
  7. Whosoever abides in him sin not: whosoever sin has not seen him, neither known him. 1Jn.3:6
  8. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.1Jn.3:7
  9. He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sin from the beginning.

    For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1Jn.3:8

  1. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remain in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1Jn.3:9
  2. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,

    neither he that love not his brother. 1Jn.3:10

  1. Sin not and able to keep himself! 1Jn.5:16-18
  2. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.

   There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 1Jn.5:16

  1. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. 1Jn.5:17
  2. We know that whosoever is born of God sin not; but he that is begotten of God keep himself,

    and that wicked one touch him not. 1Jn.5:18

  1. Able to control his own body not to commit fornication! 1Thes.4:1-8
  2. Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living.

   Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. 1Thes.4:1

  1. For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. .1Thes 4:2
  2. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid fornication. .1Thes 4:3
  3. That each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen,

   who do not know God; 1Thes.4:4-5

  1. And that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him.

   The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you. 1Thes 4:6

  1. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. .1Thes 4:7
  2. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1Thes.4:8
  3. No love money! No adultery! Heb.13:4-6
  4. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
  5. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have,

   because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. Heb.13:5

  1. So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Heb.13:6
  2. No suicide! 1Cor.3:16-17
  3. Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1Cor.3:16
  4. If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple. 1Cor.13:17
  5. Not dirty minded! Eph.4:29
  6. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,

   but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

  1. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth,

   but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.ASV

Dead is not dead

  1. Our God is the God of the living not of the dead! Matt.22:32
  2. Jesus said: The living and believing and in me will never die! Jn.11:25-26
  3. Main scriptures for this study: Jn.8:20-24
  4. These words spoke he in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man took him; because his hour was not yet come. Jn.8:20
  5. He said therefore again unto them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come. Jn.8:21
  6. The Jews therefore said, Will he kill himself, that he said: Whither I go, ye cannot come? Jn.8:22
  7. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Jn.8:23
  8. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am, ye shall die in your sins. Jn8:24
  9. For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the son-- both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who will die. Eze.18:4

  11. The dead are talking! Luke 16:22-23

  1. The dead man came out from his tomb! Jn.11:39-44

    Jesus said: Take ye away the stone.

    Martha, the sister of him that was dead, said unto him:  Lord, by this time the body decayed; for he has been four days. Jn.11:39

    And when he had thus spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. Jn.11:43

    He that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave-clothes; and his face was bound about with a napkin.

   Jesus said unto them, Loose him, and let him go. Jn.11:44

  1. Many bodies of the saints raised entered into the holy city. Matt.27:52-53

    And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit. Matt.27:50

    And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent; Matt.27:51

    and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised; Matt.27:52

    and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection they entered into the holy city and appeared unto many. Matt.27:53

  1. What happened to the cremated? This means become invisible! These people find God right there at their face! Heb.10:31
  2. Forever tormented in the lake of fire. Rev.20:10

    And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,

    where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Rev.20:10

  1. These people were alive to face judgment!

    The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them,

    and each person was judged according to what he had done. Rev.20:13

  1. The second death is not death either! Rev.20:10

    Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. Rev.20:14

  1. Many wish so much to die! Rev.9:1-6
  2. And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven fallen unto the earth: and there was given to him the key of the pit of the abyss. Rev.9:1
  3. And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace;

    and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. Rev.9:2

  1. And out of the smoke came forth locusts upon the earth; and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. Rev.9:3
  2. And it was said unto them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing,

    neither any tree, but only such men as have not the seal of God on their foreheads. Rev.9:4

  1. And it was given them that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months:

    and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when it strike a man. Rev.9:5

  1. And in those days men shall seek death, and shall in no wise find it; and they shall desire to die, and death flee from them. Rev.,9:5
  2. Conclusion: The dead in Christ shall rise first! 1Thes.4:16-18
  3. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:

   and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds,

   to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1Thes.4:16-17

  1. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1Thes.4:18

  1. A human has three lives!
  2. Bible says: A human has spirit and soul and body! Three lives! 1Thes.5:23
  3. False preachers and human tell you:
  4. A human has one life!
  5. A human has spirit, also called soul and body! Two lives!

      The NIV Bible with 115 worked together for 10 years thus translated 1 Thes.5:23 this way!

  1. At dead of the body what happen?
  2. Body returns to ground it came from! Ground can be tombs or graves!
  3. Spirit returns to God who gave it. Ecc.12:7

    God gave each human a spirit so the body can live! For the body without the spirit is dead. James 2:26

  1. This is what Apostle Paul said in Acts 17:26!

    God determines how long and where each human live on this earth!

  1. What happen to the soul when the body died?

    Adam was created to be a living soul lives in a body!  God created his body with dust! Gen.2:7

  1. Luke 16:22-24
  2. The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side.

       The rich man also died and was buried. Lk.16:22

  1. In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. Lk.16:23
  2. So he called to him: Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue,

       because I am in agony in this fire.' Lk.16:24

  1. Jn.5:28-29

    Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—

    those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.

  1. Rev.20:13-15

  1. The dead in Christ rise to heaven! 1Thes.4:16-18
  2. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet

   call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1Thes.4:16

  1. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

    And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1Thes.4:17 

  1. For souls to be in heaven one must be one of the dead in Christ!
  2. At time of death one is a member of the church of Christ!

  1. 圣经关于人生!

    一.一个人有三条命!

    1.圣经说,一个人有灵与魂与身体三条命! 帖前5:23节

    2.假传道与人会告诉你:

      (1)人只有一条命!

      (2)人有灵也叫魂与身体两条命. 新国际版圣经有115专家苦研十年就是这样翻译帖前5:23节

    二.身体死了发生什么?

    1.身体回归尘土.它是尘土来的!尘土也就是坟墓,坟穴!

    2.灵回归赐灵的神. 传道书12:7节

       神赐人一个灵叫人的身体能活着!因为身体没有灵是死的! 雅各书2:26节

    3.这就是使徒行传17:26节使徒保罗说:神决定人活多久与所住地点!

    三.身体死了人的魂怎样?

       神创造亚当是个活的魂!住在神造的身体里! 创世记2:7节

    1.路加福音16:22-24节

       (1)时候到了讨饭的死了.天使们带他去亚伯拉罕怀里. 财主也死了.并且埋葬了. 路16:22节

      (2)财主在阴间受痛苦.望见远处那边的亚伯拉罕,讨饭的在他怀里.

      (3)财主大叫,我祖亚伯拉罕啊,求你叫拉撒路用指头尖沾点水来凉凉我的舌头!

           因为我在这火炎里极其痛苦! 路16:24节

    1. 约翰福音5:28-29节.

       人不要以为希奇,时候要到凡在坟墓里的都要听见主的声音就出来.行善的复活得生.作恶的复活定罪.

    3.启示录20:13-15节

       (1)于是海交出其中的死人.死亡和阴间也交出其中的死人. 各人按照自己所行的受审判. 启20:13节

       (2)然后死亡和阴间被扔在火湖里.这火湖是第二次的死! 启20:14节

       (3)凡名字不在生命册上的都扔在火湖里. 启20:15节

    四.耶稣带魂去乐园! 路23:39-43节

    1.那同钉的两个犯人,有一个讥笑耶稣说:你不是基督马? 救你自己和我们吧! 路23:39节

    2.那一个就应声说:你既是一样受刑罚的,还不怕神吗? 路23:40节

    3.我们是应该的,因我们所受的与我们所作的相称. 但这个人没有作过一件不好的事. 路23:41节

    4.就说:耶稣啊,你得国降临的时候,求你记念我! 路23:42节

    5.耶稣对他说:我实在告诉你,今日你要与我同在乐园里了! 路23:43节

    五.魂要受审判!

    1.按着定命人人都有一死.死后且有审判. 希伯来书9:27节

    2.当人子在他荣耀里,同着众天使降临的时候,要坐在他荣耀的宝座上. 马太25:31节

    3.万民都要聚集在他面前. 他要把他们别出来.好像牧羊的分别绵羊,山羊一般. 太25:32节

    4.把绵羊安置在右边.山羊在左边. 太25:33节

    5.于是,王要向右边的说: 你们这蒙我父赐福的,可来承受那创世以来为你们所预备的国. 太25:34节

    6.王又要向左边的说:你们这被咒诅的人,离开我,进入那为魔鬼和他的使者所预备的永火里去! 太25:41节

    六.在基督里死的人复活去天堂! 帖前4:16-17节

    1.因为主必亲自从天降临,有呼叫的声音和天使长的声音,又有神的号.

      那在基督里死了的人必先复活. 帖前4:16节

    2.以后我们这存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里,在空中与主相遇.

       这样,我们就要和主永远同在. 帖前4:17节

    3.在基督里死的人他们的魂去天堂! 西3:3节

    4.人死的时候是基督的教会里的人!
